On September 9, 2023, Give Comfort attended the Ken Ellis Memorial Park 56th Anniversary Celebration on our own behalf and as representatives for IMPACT Melanoma, a national nonprofit dedicated to melanoma prevention and early detection.
Give Comfort attended the Little Leaders Luau at Magic Island in Charleston on July 29, 2023. We shared information about our services with parents, and we had prizes for all of the Little Leaders who participated in our challenge. We asked each Little Leader to perform a random act of kindness by giving a drawing or kind note to a stranger. For their good deed, the Little Leaders got a prize and a gold coin that went toward the event’s grand prize.
Give Comfort attended the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta as a nonprofit vendor. We provided information on our services, pamphlets from other cancer awareness organizations, free swag, a UV bead bracelet-making station, and an opportunity to enter a giveaway sponsored by Mardi Gras Resort & Casino.Â
